Stephen, I liked and used Xobni until just before Xmas and that update started causing multiple instances of Outlook to be loaded if you inadvertently re-opened outlook. These phantoms took up huge amounts of memory and effectively meant that I potentially had a multi-user postbox with all the inherent potential corruption problems.
Also it created real havoc as you could only close down the phantom instances using Taskmanager, again risking a potentially corrupt postbox. I'd be interested in knowing if this has now been fixed as I really enjoyed using it until "that" update and did email the developers about the problem but haven't had time to revisit it. Using mail for this is so stupid at times when they keep changing their mind. You need to know who sent you the email for this app. Or LookOut will search the entire .pst real fast if you don't know who sent it to you. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer First Horizon Bank Memphis TN 901.246-0159 [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/7c7203a331c34676932d55d9a04dd...@develop ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
