Yeah, I had a real "ah-ha" moment when I attended the Voices That Matter: Professional Ruby conference last year in Boston: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sd/3041267120/ The vast majority of the laptops had little apples glowing on the cover. There were a couple other laptops there, a few Windows, but mostly Linux. However, during one of the presentations on deployment, up came the familiar Tux logo: all RoR developers deploy to Linux, so they're all Linux users as well as OS X users. But development is pretty much Textmate-centric (a commercial and proprietary text editor), though there's an up-and-coming Vim contingent. -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
