Hi Leland, The Indians always had a choice, even in the pilgrim days. They could move into town, ranch or farm, speak English and become civilized or they could run around half naked in the bush drinking as much booze as they could get. Some chose one way and are now your buddy's grandpa and some chose the other and are drunken sots on the reservation. The Palestinians have always had the opportunity to be citizens of Israel had they so chosen.
