Some of my best friends are Indians. I would say that the ones who join the larger civilization would have not a lot of desire to go back. Have you been to the reservations? I have. Outdoor toilets made of plywood, you know. Of course this was some time ago, perhaps they have plastic porta-potties now. And mosquitoes!
