Ah, I see....sorry I came into the thread a little late and had deleted the
start messages. 

Still, you could set them up this way if you specify a small .exe as a
program to run immediately after the install. This would set up the
shortcuts accordingly.

Anyway, others may well find the scripting solution useful so nothing lost
there!

Thanks Dave. I didn't explain the problem correctly.

My client has 4 shops, with many computers on each one, and one server.

I wanted to create a installer for the workstations. Each shop has it's 
own data, so the installer should ask the user to choose the shop.
Then I would create the icon and the name of the shop as a parameter for
the executable.
