But that's unfair!!! You are actually talking facts! NONONONO! Bad boy!

Besides which, it seems these people have never heard of studying the
atmospheric composition by drilling deep into ice (they can even measure
the temperature of the clouds at the time the snow fell through the
ratio of oxygen isotopes(O18/O16)). We are talking 1969 here!!!
Also check "palynology" and Milankovitch" in your google. There is also
radiocarbon dating of glacial moraine, the study of oxygen built into
fossil shells pulled out from the sea floor to measure ancient
temperatures (check "Harold Urey" and/or "Cesare Emiliani").
All these techniques allow us to measure and correlate CO2 and
temperature a few years back, let's say......1920? or maybe hundreds of
thousands of years back? Naahhh! Antarctic ice sheet formed during the
Eocene–Oligocene transition ( 33.5–34.0 million years ago) so I guess we
can go as far back as our drills allow. So please Bobby, you may argue
whatever you want but remember we are in the 21st century and not in the
middle ages (where opinion had more weight than facts).
Bobby here reminds us of the tobacco companies saying it has not been
"proven" that tobacco causes cancer. Maybe not to their high standards,
but. Would you encourage your son to smoke his ass off until it is fully
proven? Could your son argue that "this is politics" to prevent his
income to be redistributed to the tobacco companies?
I love my daughter and I will no doubt love my grandchildren when they
come, and I am not willing to take that chance on their future
(Minimus's dick OTOH does not perform properly so he'll never have
children nor grandchildren, hence his position on this subject). I'd
rather use public transport, pay a little more for "clean" technologies,
and pay a little more taxes so as to be able to pay Brazil and Africa so
they don't deplete their ecologic environments.
