OK, here's a minor negative. If you get Vonage, you don't get listed in the White Pages. So if you have someone dial 411, you don't show up at all. Also Verizon pays for 2 free 1-line ads in the Yellow Pages, that goes away too.
Currently we are paying about 31.00 per month for Verizon without any voice mail or caller ID. Going to Vonage 500 minute plan will save us money but cost us because we no longer get multiple listings in the yellow pages, nor do we get online listings from Verizon, nor do we get 411. This may be better for businesses using it for calling out or as secondary lines. It was looking good for a while. --- On Thu, 12/17/09, Michael Madigan <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Michael Madigan <[email protected]> > Subject: RE: [NF] Is anyone using Vonage for phone service? > To: "ProFox Email List" <[email protected]> > Date: Thursday, December 17, 2009, 10:37 PM > Thanks for all the responses. > So far I haven't found anyone with a bad word about them. > > --- On Thu, 12/17/09, Rick Schummer <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > From: Rick Schummer <[email protected]> > > Subject: RE: [NF] Is anyone using Vonage for phone > service? > > To: [email protected] > > Date: Thursday, December 17, 2009, 10:20 PM > > >> Is anyone using Vonage for > > phone service and how do you like them?<< > > > > We have two business lines.
