I can't have a rational debate on gun deaths if you are going to start with
a position that essentially denies that they happen. The figure of 642 is
ludicrous as everyone knows.

Hi Geoff,

OK, the 642 number is correct, but the latest year is 2006. The trend 
has been down, however.

The confusion overseas is the intentional lying by the gun control 
pressure groups. News agencies just accept the false figures as correct.
