compare open source projects to volunteer fire depts across america.
Yep, no comparison, but there is.

more and more volunteer fire depts are losing their members.
Why?
because of the regulations that are making them like a full time job 
with no pay.

People don't need, nor want the aggravation.

Open source is the same way in my opinion.
If it will solve a problem point of mine, of course I will be glad to 
donate my time.
but if it is only for fun, or whatever, sorry but I have other pressing 
items that require my attention.

I know there are others that will tell you that virgil is clueless.
Trust me,
I volunteer all of my spare time for KeepAmericaAtWork.
There is no pay.
Nothing but satisfaction that I'm doing what I can to try and bring 
sanity to this situation even though there are those that think I'm crazy.
