Hi Geoff, Really! Our trucks are standardized at 13'6" to get under bridges. Wires are typically 18' high so if the truck doesn't have to go under a bridge it can be just under that wire height with an oversize permit. Really have to watch the sky driving those. I know, I did for years. Three stories would be over 25' high! Truckers in the USA make less than minimum wage, however. Too much time when the clock on his wages isn't running, yet he can't go home. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
