Malcolm, I've heard of Craig's name thrown around here in our list in the past. So, based upon what you said - I did a Google search - and I came up with his SweetPotato website. I suspected that was where you wanted me to go. Although, the downside - I did a search on his site for "Spell checker" & "Spellchecker" - but came up with NO Results both times! So, I went back to Google - and this time searched for "VFP Craig Boyd spellchecker" and that's when I got to this webpage on his site: http://www.sweetpotatosoftware.com/SPSBlog/CommentView,guid,8800bdb9-a9c 2-484f-942f-6a08947d903a.aspx
I suspect that this IS the webpage you wanted me to find. Right? Or am I missing something? In the meantime - I am reading through this webpage - and it's a rather interesting write-up he did, on why & how he created his own spellchecker. I see that others have also contributed to his spell checker project. So - at this point - I plan to try and implement his spell checker. I'm glad I posted this message - and, I'm surprised that nobody pointed out Craig's spell checker back in Dec of 2008 when Richard Kaye originally posted his question. But - yet again - this List proves to be a Totally Excellent source of Help! Thanks everyone! -K- -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Malcolm Greene Sent: Friday, July 16, 2010 10:18 AM Kurt, There's a spellchecker implemented entirely in VFP up on Craig Boyd's site.
