Mike,

Start in safe mode. The latest Maleware bytes will be able to run in safe
mode, where the virus is actually causing problems with the scans. Then
clear out the %TEMP% folder before restarting.

One of the techs here said he also that going back to a previous restore
point was the only way he got rid of the ugly thing.
