I've looked in the Event Viewer, but don't see any messages that mention hard disk problems. Is there somewhere specific in there that it might? Maybe I should run a chkdsk? I've run ccleaner and it removed a little bit of stuff (about 7MB) I've had a look at combofix and see that I should not run it unless advised to by a trained user of it, so have posted a message on bleepingcomputer.com to see if someone there advises the same (unless of course you are a trained user of it, if so please let me know!) I think I now have a way to cause it to hang up! If I try to copy something and paste it on the desktop, that is one of the instances when it hangs up. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/df1eef11e586a64fb54a97f22a8bd04418fd68a...@ackbwddqh1.artfact.local ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
