Subject: Re: [NF] Windows Shell Explorer Hangs

  Hi Michael,

Thanks for the advice. I've looked in the Event Viewer, but don't see
any messages that mention hard disk problems. Is there somewhere
specific in there that it might? Maybe I should run a chkdsk?

I've run ccleaner and it removed a little bit of stuff (about 7MB)

I've had a look at combofix and see that I should not run it unless
advised to by a trained user of it, so have posted a message on
bleepingcomputer.com to see if someone there advises the same (unless of
course you are a trained user of it, if so please let me know!)

I think I now have a way to cause it to hang up! If I try to copy
something and paste it on the desktop, that is one of the instances when
it hangs up.
