Code refs was added in 8, I believe, not that that helps you with 7. If you 
don't use memberdata, you may be able to safely edit your VFP 7 code in 9 
without a problem with the possible exception of the menus as pointed out by 
Ricardo. Of course, a backup is your best friend.

There is also a alpha/beta enhanced version of Code Refs up on VFPx.

I agree - Code Ref IS a Great tool! And, yeah - I guess I kinda figured
it was new and specific to VFP9.

As for the 2nd part. I was thinking of doing just that. However, it
defeats one of the great features of the Code Ref tool - in that if you
Double-Click the Reference after doing the search - it not only opens
the Screen (or Program) in question - it puts you DIRECTLY on the line
of code that was found!
