Hey there RK & Rafael,

Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated. Yeah - good to know about
the Menu. I actually started doing all the Edits yesterday afternoon -
before I saw your feedback. But, the Menu system won't be touched at all
for what I am doing - so that's not a problem. Its mainly Reports,
Screens/Forms and PRG's that I am editing in VFP9 - based upon a VFP7
Project.

Yes - I think a Back-up would have been good. Too bad I didn't think of
that yesterday.

That being said...

...I just recompiled the project in VFP7 - after making a ton of edits
last night - and it compiled & Ran fine!

So - Thanks again!
-K-

Code refs was added in 8, I believe, not that that helps you with 7. If
you don't use memberdata, you may be able to safely edit your VFP 7 code
in 9 without a problem with the possible exception of the menus as
pointed out by Ricardo. Of course, a backup is your best friend.

There is also a alpha/beta enhanced version of Code Refs up on VFPx.

Hey there Vincent,

Thanks for the quick feedback!

I agree - Code Ref IS a Great tool! And, yeah - I guess I kinda figured
it was new and specific to VFP9.

As for the 2nd part. I was thinking of doing just that. However, it
defeats one of the great features of the Code Ref tool - in that if you
Double-Click the Reference after doing the search - it not only opens
the Screen (or Program) in question - it puts you DIRECTLY on the line
of code that was found!
