The wife recently got a job as an Account Manager (burley.com) and as it turns out they have ZERO contact management system/software in place. One person keeps paper notes, another in Excel, my wife is using Outlook Calendar.... good grief!!
They are looking into getting something for the reps to use, and Telemagic and ACT! come to mind but it's been years since I've heard much mention of them. They have the ability to pay for the stuff, but it would be nice if they could explore free options of course. Anyone have a sales staff that is using something they could recommend?
