1.  She was building her dream house.  They had lived in a trailer on the 
property.  In hindsight maybe they shouldn't have undertaken such an expensive 
project with no money to spare, but it's an honest mistake.  

2.  They ran into legal problems with the contractor and the neighbors which 
they didn't plan on.

3.  The mortgage company was giving them issues because the house wasn't being 
finished in time due to the contractor and legal issues.

4.  She probably didn't realize the extent of not taking the medication was 
having on her body and it caught up to her all of a sudden.


You can say that if she had health insurance that she would be alive, but you 
can also say that they shouldn't have spent their savings buying property and 
building a house with no backup.
