Funny, I've heard the same thing said about consultants and software
developers :)

It's the 95% of lawyers that give the rest a bad reputation.  (*rimshot*)

I have a lawyer who reviews my contracts. I also use nolo.com
workbooks as starter templates.

If you find yourself using a leech as a lawyer, subcontractor or
client, well, you drop them and find a better one.
