Surely sometime in the last 15 years someone has rewritten STARGATE or the like in 32/64 bit. For a really cool app with a futuristic name, still being 16bit is a bit embarrassing.

I am handicapped and have a stand alone computer called STARGATE that monitors my telephone/heat & air and allows me to turn lights and things on and off. I communicate through a com port and have built simple commands into a fox pro-6 database which still work fine to turn on/off lights and run my stereo. STARGATE's event manager is 16 bit so I can't go in and set up the main program and correct simple things like the recent time change. I could just hook up an old lap top to do routine settings but I would want my 64 bit the rest of the time, if possible. I don't want to need to hire someone to switch a com cable for 10 minutes every time I need to tweak a setting. Any suggestions?
