Hey Mike - thank you very much for the suggestion. I was just looking at the website you suggested - and that's after attempting to implement the Google Analytics - which is so far failing to work...
I'm curious though. This one you sent me - it looks to be almost the same type of thing as Google Analytics. Especially since they are both Free. However, I know that with Google - they are HUGE, and, of course - they will also use the data for other purposes. But, with statcounter.com - how do they manage to keep this as a "Free" tool? Is there some kind of advertising that pops-up my webpages - or do they just expect me to cough up my 1st child in return for my using Their Service?!?!? Anyway - just curious... -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of MB Software Solutions, LLC Sent: Monday, October 01, 2012 2:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [NF] Website Page Views Counter On 10/1/2012 2:08 PM, Kurt Wendt wrote: > Hey Folks, > > > > Hopefully this is a simple question with a relatively Simple Answer. > > > > I have a VERY Basic webpage - its really mostly about the Content - as I > am most assuredly NOT a webpage designer. > > > > Now - I want to start tracking how many visitors I get to this webpage. > Especially since I want to start spreading the word about it - and want > to see the affect of that spread. > > > > So - is there a simple way I can implement a Counter? > > > > FYI - here's the webpage in question: > > http://gallery-3d.com/Bot-Guy/ > > > > And - the reason I call myself "Bot-Guy" is because I applied to get > into this Maker Faire (that just occurred this past weekend) - and they > suggested we give them a CREATIVE Title of our "exhibit". Otherwise, you might consider some sort of venue like the old phpBB forums (whatever their modern day incarnate is).
