Actually - that's one of the things I noticed - that peaked my interest - about the full blown Analytics - knowing that my page actually is popular in some place like France.
It would be interesting to know if my site starts getting visitors from around the world - since there is a possibility I may try to eventually sell my Dragon on Ebay! -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of M Jarvis Sent: Monday, October 01, 2012 4:49 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [NF] Website Page Views Counter On Mon, Oct 1, 2012 at 1:10 PM, Kurt Wendt <[email protected]> wrote: > Yes - U R right - initially - all I really wanted was a Hit Counter. Just remember that a hit counter is just that - how many times that page loaded. Any refresh of the page, bot sweep, or any time you update it and tweak it and load it touch it and squeeze it etc - it's going to call that a hit and skew your results counter... That's why a full meal deal like GA is good because it can sift through all that... plus it's cool to see if your page is real popular in Romania or something... -- Matt Jarvis Eugene, Oregon USA [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/289ea162f5642645b5cf64d624c66a140e260...@us-ny-mail-002.waitex.net ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
