on related note, the installer lab fails even in J602 on windows (executable
can't find J.exe), but it gets much less far in j QT, as the project doesn't
open/get created.

in Jqt, an annoyance, project manager will also close all open source files.

As best as I understand it (probably very little), project manager's main
benefit over a project.ijs file (where you would load all other files you need)
is that there is a build package option, which can be used to distribute
exe/dmg files.  Perhaps it also lets you gather files from multiple folders and
they will get packaged and rereferenced into your app folder?

But its not obvious that the packaging function works.

Subject: [Jprogramming] Project Manager in J801

I want to start using Project Manager in J801, but only find a wiki page
dated 2008. Is there documentation on the new Project Manager?

Thanks
