AMEN!!!  My undergraduate degree is in education.  YOU understand 
beginners!  Teaching a topic is different than knowing and using it.  
(From reading several of Ken Iverson's "educational" writings, I can 
tell that, as a teacher, he knew this, too.)  Great post!
