Bill -
does "ffmpeg" have editing capability?  It seems to me that the difficulty
in producing one of these demos is in having to do everything right - the
actions and the narration - in one shot.

Also, you bring up a good point in that some of these tools may be
platform-specific even if the output is to be web-based.
