Yes, bibutils is interesting. Another such conversion library is the Pybliographer <http://pybliographer.org/>. EPFL's instance of Invenio uses it heavily for their import/export needs. But I have not checked whether it contains some ready-to-be-used BibTeX input parsing module or not. Best regards -- Tibor Simko
