You're right, I forgot about this lib. I actually tested their GUI app
while ago and abandoned it (IRL it just didn't work as it should), but
the progamming lib is surely interesting. I always had the impression
that this is the main target of this project anyway.
EPFL's instance of Invenio uses it heavily
for their import/export needs.
This code didn't make it ot Invenio? Would surely be interesting, as
this is actually quite a common request we get. "Can I upload my ...
somehow? I have it already there..." So if you see a chance to allow
uploading of BibTeX and friends in an easy way for this it would be great.
But I have not checked whether it
contains some ready-to-be-used BibTeX input parsing module or not.
AFAIK it has indeed. + n other import formats. Especially
Endnote/RIS/Refmanager is of interest here, but this one comes in a
whole bunch of flavours. (Their latest invention is some XML, but the
earlier ones are some sort of tagged ascii, pretty ugly to tell them all
apart.)
