Yip, all the time.
 
Its a problem that has been noted in these forums on various versions &
service packs and subject to many theories and comments.

Ive had it under 95/98/NT4SP3/NT4SP4/NT4SP5/NT4SP6a/W2k/W2KSP1. The only
time Ive had it kill a DDB file was when it crashes with 'compact after
closing' and I have been a bit to eager to click the 'x' button in the top
right corner.

After a while its forgotten again by all [including Protel in SP's] and the
problem put aside in favour of tackiling bigger isuues.

Lost faith a long time ago that it will ever be fixed. 

I am just glad it does not do it in the middle of a session!
