Hi Mike,

The 0.050" dimension looks like it applies between pads on staggered rows.
I think adjacent pads in the same row are 0.10" apart.

Jeff,
I agree the pin has to be around .018 not .028, but this wont be the first
time I have seen a high density connector manufactured so it couldnt be laid
out reliably.
Basically lack of knowledge from AMPs designer not knowing that you cant use
a pin diameter 1/2 size of the pin spacing.  Sure I can "jerry" rig it....
