There is one other way to make this problem go away and simply specify a larger film size in the Advanced tab under Gerber properties, you can change the numbers in the "Film Size" box to any dimension you want. I have mine set at 20 x 16 inches, as I used to get the film too small message once and a while as well. Hope this helps.
