Boy, it seems like there's a lot of similar issues here. For me, if I close a database with the .PPC open, upon re-opening the database, the .ppc shows up all tiny/empty as well. I haven't thought to try and and mess with zoom settings. My work around: little yellow post-it note on my monitor, "Close .PPC files before exit Protel." When I forget and it does show up wrong, closing and opening the .PPC again fixes it.
