To All, Just a thought. If there is no means of DRC'ing silkscreen with repsect to pads (or anything else for that matter) then WHY is it that Protel runs a DRC (which does take a few seconds) eveytime a Ref Des on Silkscreen layer is moved???? It's not an electrical item yet I see it annalizing VCC everytime I move a Ref Des on a part that is has connections to power (most parts) on a big board where planes are complete etc. Sure makes ya wonder. Seems to waste a bit of time for checking what at that moment???? Bob Wolfe
