Tim, I have been running DXP and 99SE on the same machine (running Windows 2000) for some time now without any problems.
As far as making the switch goes, I just kept all my 99SE designs in 99SE and any new designs, I do in DXP. I wanted to avoid any and all headaches trying to convert the designs. It has worked so far!
