Yes there is a problem with IE that copied input is not accessible. I use clone(true) to copy the div including label and input, and then insert the div at top of the form. This problem is not relevant to pMask() actually, so calling new pMask() is not the root cause of the problem.
calling new pMask() again works as expected in FF and chrome.
