I've been looking for something like this for a long time as well. I certainly use an Apple Pro keyboard most of the time as I often prefer not to necessarily have the laptop in front of me but, for those instances where it's actually preferable, the keyboard is redundant so the num pad is great. Of course, a blueTooth num pad is also perhaps even better but, with the modifier issue, it's not quite a great solution. We'll see what's up in Mavericks with a newer wireless num pad when that Belken model comes in.
