Here is an example of how your post could of been shortened.

Hello,

I have two questions. I was wondering if the iLok manager was as of yet accessible as i heard rumblings that they were close to a fix some time ago. Also does anyone know of a way to burn a CD directly from pro tools skipping the bounce to disc step?

Thanks,

Chris.

See, short sweet and to the point. you greeted, asked both questions and closed with a token of gratitude in advanced. Now if we were to stop reading your emails as you suggest, you would never get any responses to your questions. And if no one was answering your questions this community wouldn't be very helpful to you would it? We are all heard to help each other, and getting to the point allows us to assist each other in a more efficient manner. This isn't intended as a dig or an attack, but some some constructive criticism that can help us all communicate more effectively both in this community but also in life.

Frankly Chuck, I see not a single thing that was bloviated about my post. I thought that was exactly what I did was to state my question. I'm sorry people got offended. As I said though, if you don't like my posts, don't read them. This really isn't hard.

OK, I'm done with this discussion. Let's get back to ProTools. You know where I stand, so stop trying to change my opinion of such, as it's not going to work.

God bless.

Chris.

Let's look at another possibility... Have you considered how short of a time it would a been to hit the delete key and not read further in my message? If you don't like my e-mails, get over it young, and don't read 'em, this isn't Albert Einstein mathematics here! Frankly, because of your rude comment, I'm not even gonna read the remainder of your message. It's not worth my time.

Do your emails really have to be that long? Took me about 2 minutes to read the whole thing, and the only question I can answer is your second one...

You can bounce to disk then import to iTunes, put in a playlist and burn that to disk.

It might be slightly quicker if you import the resulting aif into Logic and bounce that - There's an option to burn to audio cd.

Does anyone know the status on the ILok license manager as far as accessibility. I heard about 3 or 4 months ago from someone on here, don't recall who, that they were apparently really really close to having an accessible sollution. I was very heartened to hear this, but it seems like still! not much is getting done. Again, I wanna make myself incredibly clear. I, said, it seems! like. I never said that the left hand indeed didn't know what the right was doing behind closed doors. I've got a plugin I'm really considerring getting, A: if someone still has the presets, and B, if I can find a way to get things on my ILok by myself any time soon. It's really just becoming a hastle having my mom, or Norme, one, do it for me every freaking time. They're honestly starting to get a little bit tired of it, and honestly, rightfully so. Sweetwater has told me that they did it for me remotely that one time with my PT11, but that that was a 1 time only curticy. They've told me flat out that they can't do it again due to liability issues... not even if I buy the product from them directly.

The other real quick unrelated question I have is, and before I even ask it, please if you're gonna answer anything, answer my last question about the ILok before answerring this, if nothing else. Is there though, a way that instead of just bouncing down to disk, that I can bounce a session directly down to an audio CD that could be played in any standard CD player? Am using PT 11.2.
