Guys this is all a bit silly. It's not about taking sides and who is 
right. I simply wanted to point out when Slau said a key combo didn't 
exist he could have at least tried it or checked with another user. You 
should all know that this isn't personal at all but one would tend to 
feel somewhat attacked when someone dismisses what they said as non 
existing. I only stated that indeed, the combo does exist even through 
the current version and got slammed for pointing this out in a nice way. 
It's no secret that Slau is strong willed and quite possibly may have 
believed otherwise which is why I pointed it out in a friendly way. My 
original post wasn't even about this issue. I only wanted to discuss the 
behavior Slau was experiencing with shuffle and slip modes. Slau, there 
have been other posts from you that I've read whereby you would try 
things out first before saying something never existed so I'm not sure 
why you took such a firm stand with me. I'm not finding a question I 
left unanswered as you said other than the same question of was this pre 
version 5. Obviously you're smart enough to understand that question was 
answered by me stating "5 through the current version 11.2.1 so I'll 
gladly answer anything you feel is pertinent to this subject but my 
focus is on trying to get these things fixed with Avid rather than 
debating the semantics of a post. To answer some other comments my name 
is Joe and yes, I do respect the fact that chuck, Vinny, Kevin, Slau and 
the rest have taken up this challenge because quite frankly it supports 
me completely and what I do in life on a 14 hour a day or more bases. We 
have all been on the phone together several times and it's easy for Slau 
myself and others to get quite animated over something we're all 
passionate about. I honestly believe that knowing a bit of Slau's 
personality that if I said something didn't exist that he knew did it 
would be quite challenging for him to say nothing at all. This was the 
point of the thread which should explain my issue and hopefully put some 
closure to this somewhat pointless point. Let's move on and get back to 
the music.
