Hi Robin,

If I'm not mistaken, Avid has operators that can help in processes such as
this. I've had to do that once a few years ago and I think several others on
the list have had such assistance. I think the phone number is either
650-731-6100 or 6500, I don't recall.

On a different note, I'm not so sure that the Pro Tools First experience is
going to be representative of what Pro Tools truly has to offer in terms of
accessibility. While Pro Tools First is certainly similar and based on the
regular Pro Tools, there are a few things that are different and I don't think
your experience would be particularly impressive. I tried the beta late last
year and there were a few fundamental problems. Avid has certainly indicated
that the intention is to make sure Pro Tools First is accessible but, from a
non-accessibility-related perspective, Pro Tools First, in my opinion, is a
flawed concept. It's far too limited and anyone serious about audio will
quickly feel its limitations. I'd sooner try to find some of the audio
tutorials that are out there to get a sense of what's possible and how things
work. There has been an enormous amount of progress on the accessibility front
in Pro Tools that we're about to witness and I think that, ultimately, the way
to go is the full version of Pro Tools. My two cents.
