Hello Slau and Nickus, thank you so much for all your wonderful, detailed explanations! I had planned to just look at and play around with PT First in order to get my feet wet and the ultimately move to the full version, but I was totally unaware of the fact that there’s such a huge difference between PT First and the full version in terms of accessibility! I’m extremely sorry in case this has already been discussed on here before, I’ve been a subscriber here for quite a while now but honestly haven’t been able to keep up with the list traffic… So, I guess the next step for me to take is to look for the PT 30-day trial, hopefully I can find that somewhere without having to sign up for Avid Master! Slau, thanks a lot for directing me to the Avid service operators. Of course we’re in the middle of the weekend now and I don’t think I’ll be able to reach them at this time, so I’m just going to look at the other options first and contact them on Monday if I still need to. Regarding the Illock USB dongle, has that improved in terms of accessibility lately? I know this has been a huge issue for many in the past, so I hope that this has changed for the better lately.
