Hi Chris,
I believe what you're asking is what should the name of the folder be that 
would be associated with the actual plug-in. If that's the question, then the 
folder of the plug-in has to match the name of the plug-in exactly. If it is 
different in any way, it will not be associated to the plug-in. One way to do 
this is to create a plug-in setting right from the plug-in. you'll see that a 
Setting will be created  within the folder of the exact name of that plug-in 
and if The folder for that plug-in doesn't already exist, it will be created.
Ultimately, what you need to remember is that the upper level of the folder 
structure needs to be named exactly like the plug-in. The subfolders you create 
under that main folder can be anything you'd like to name them.
