I would love to see an ALIX version of this. While I am still having fun learning about the ALIX by doing my own setup, I expect I will be setting up more than one ALIX board with members of the Portland Linux Unix Group, and being able to clone setups will help. I can also imagine one of our sysadmin friends building some "loaner firewalls" with the Alix boards to facilitate contract sysadmin. That is, a contractor can loan a client an Alix box, which drives a VPN back to the contractor's site, monitors traffic, etc. The sysadmin tasks are done over that link, then the box is returned. The ALIX is cheap enough that a lot of boxes could be deployed this way, making a good living for some of us. Thanks in advance, Tyler and Johan.
