Cloning setups for the Alix are pretty trivial, since the system is on Compact Flash cards. Just configure one the way you want it, pull the card out, dd the CF to an image file, then dd that image file onto as many other CF's as you need. Plug them into an Alix and away you go. The other thing you might want is to figure out interactively which packages you are going to want/need and then compile them into the squashfs image. # opkg list_installed will tell you what is installed, then you go to the buildroot and pick 'yes' for those, which will include them in the squashfs image. Rinse and repeat until you have it like you want it. -- Russell Senior, Secretary [EMAIL PROTECTED] --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ The Personal Telco Project - http://www.personaltelco.net/ Donate to PTP: http://www.personaltelco.net/donate Archives: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.wireless.portland.general/ Etiquette: http://www.personaltelco.net/index.cgi/MailingListEtiquette List information: http://lists.personaltelco.net To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
