Hi All, I've had the problem of the "Please wait" message going on indefinitely. It has happened about five times since upgrading the firmware, and it's happend both on cards and on CD-RW.
I think it may be to do with indexing once there are more than a certain number of titles, perhaps over five or six. The first time it happened I found it very distressing as I thought I'd lost lots of data, but as people have already pointed out, the data seems to be intact. The only way I've found to solve it, is to take the battery out, then re-start with no card and no CD, and choose "clear all settings" from the control-panel. Once you do this, the affected card or CD appears to be fine again. I think this is a real bug in the new firmware, and I'd very much like to know whether Plextalk monitors this list, or whether there is actually anyone listening there since they never seem to answer Email. Andrew, any inside take on this?
