We may have a different interpretation of "SHOULD", in which case we need to be very careful about how we phrase it. While we encourage folks to use the @profile, we don't require it.

an important way to encourage folks to use the @profile is to include
it in all the examples and test cases.

In other words, this isn't a MUST. Thus, some test cases have @profile (or will very soon), and others don't.

For the ones that don't, I'll be interested to learn why not.
