Thanks for the info. So the `Could not intern from pson` error is filed as #22840. When you say, "I'm still presented with the same error as before" is that the "intern from pson" error or the "Verify you have sufficient privileges to install system services" error? Assuming it's the latter, could you try deleting the `C:\ProgramData\PuppetLabs\puppet` directory and reinstalling.
