Thanks a lot, Karsten!
I tried again with making .emacs file and SuperCollider started up!
But it doesn’t seem SwingOSC installed, does it?
The sound SC makes is not as beautiful as it used to. When I do:
{SinOsc.ar([440, 441], mul:0.1)}.play;
not only sine wave tone but also some glitchy noise came up.
Even though I eat miso soup everyday in Japan,
maybe I should stay within legacy era, or maybe not…
Anyhow, I really appreciate the developers’ effort.

for testing things out! Supercollider should actually be installed, you can
verify this by opening a terminal and typing :
aptitude show supercollider-sclang you can activate sclang-mode in emacs by
adding
(require 'sclang)to your ~/.emacs configuration file and running emacs again
(or evaluating the line from inside emacs). I shall swiftly correct this
though... making a ticket for this. If you run into more problems let us
know!Furthermore, its right now not possible to 'dock' the install the way the
old p:d used to be installed. This is definitely something that we'll be
looking into though, so stay tuned ;-)best,karsten
