somehow related to this ... is timemachine included in PureDyne? it is a
quite nice software i recently was recommended. I found it very useful.

I think you can do something like
ecasound -i $(SCPORTNAME) -o filename.wav
buuut, that said, you can do that with sc itself too. if
you use emacs just
type C-c C-p p to get to the server panels. there is a
record button... I
guess its not the same though :)

first of all, thanks for testing things out!
Supercollider should actually
be installed, you can verify this by opening a
terminal
and typing :
aptitude show supercollider-sclang
you can activate sclang-mode in emacs by adding
(require 'sclang)
to your ~/.emacs configuration file and running emacs
again (or evaluating
the line from inside emacs). I shall swiftly correct
this
though... making a
ticket for this. If you run into more problems let us
know!
Furthermore, its right now not possible to 'dock' the
install the way the
old p:d used to be installed. This is definitely
something that we'll be
looking into though, so stay tuned ;-)
