hi all,

so i have a CF card that i use with grub to boot debian lenny on a small computer. the image in the card uses the p:d reps and conforms a system that opens pd and streams audio via wireless or cable no questions asked....

wanting to try L&P on them I proceeded today to download the iso.

-mounted -o loop the .iso to try to cp -rv /live to /

my first problem was that i couldn't see the whole structure inside / live . mount -o loop doesn't expand the .img inside it.. (it might require squashfs or extra steps..???)

Im thinking i could boot from l&p as a LiveCD and cp -rv the system structure to / in my CF, then modify grub accordingly. could that be a cheap and effective way to get around?

phps im too used to the docking method and got confused deciding what method will be the best one for my case.

so any advice is very much welcome.

tx!
