Oh wow, Mark. This is a button you don't want to push (as Kendall may have
implied). After all, you've only ever seen the *nice* Bijan :)
Suffice to say that Dave Winer knew about Wikis and Swikis and the "Edit
this Page" (which I credit to you, actually) phrase at least a year and a
half before "Manila" was conceived. I brought it to his attention myself.
The worst feature, imho, about "edit this page" is that it's such a
*closed* system. Wiki's, both the implmenting and the use, are just so much
freer. I think Ward did a truely fine and good thing when he evented Wiki
culture.
Ok. I've still been nice. So sue me :)
