While it might be possible to get Scamper to run project Swiki (or BSS
for that matter), I don't think it's a great idea.

The plug-in is nice in that it gives you security. There isn't that much
malicious stuff that I can do. I can use the plug-in to do a denial of
service attack. I can use the plug-in to fill your hard drive. I can use
the plug-in to distribute spam. I can probably use the plug-in to crash
your machine.

In full-blown Squeak, I can do much worse. I can corrupt all your files.
I can search for e-mail addresses and send them a virus. I can change
your SqueakVM or standard image to include a worm. Basically, I have free
reign.

Secondly, scamper is not a good browser (and probably never will be). For
simple sites, such as Swikis, it does fine, but once you get into
javascript, flash, even sophisticated tables, scamper fails. Even if that
only accounts for 15% of the pages that I want to look at, it's a huge
pain. I was a lynx user for a long time. I had to stop, because there
were too many sites that I couldn't look at. If you look at the amount of
work that goes into a browser (even such browsers as iCab), it's several
orders of magnitude more than what goes into scamper. I don't see anybody
being willing to put that much time into Scamper to make it competitive.
So, let's leave the browser making to people who are willing to put in
the ungodly amount of time necessary to make a decent browser.

Okay. Now, given that, it would be very cool if you could at least load
the project from scamper.

Peace and Luck!
