No fixed date.  As soon as it is ready bu no sooner seems like a good
rule to follow.

You mean 7.4?  Now that I have looked at it closer I am tending towards
8.0.  The major release usually has the bulk of the significant,
non-backwards-compatible stuff so maybe it makes more sense.  That's
still about three years ago.
